SpectraCell’s Micronutrient test measures 31 vitamins, minerals, amino/fatty acids, antioxidants, and metabolites and how they affect cellular function in a person. The NutrEval FMV® is both a blood and urine test that evaluates over 125 biomarkers and assesses the body's functional need for 40 antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, amino acids, digestive support, and other select nutrients. Personalized recommendations for nutrients are determined by using an algorithm based on the patient's test findings. The NutrEval Plasma and NutrEval FMV (first morning void) differ based on which sample type is used to measure amino acids, plasma, or urine.

The Methylation Panel is an innovative test designed to offer insight into the critical biochemical methylation pathway. Methylation metabolites are measured in plasma, and genetic single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are analyzed via buccal swab. The results are synthesized on a front-page Interpretation-at-a-Glance (IAAG) graphic for quick methylation status assessment. Within the report, results are shown in a methylation pathway graphic to provide a clear understanding of the biochemistry involved.

Bone Resorption Assessment provides an accurate assessment of the rate of bone turnover in an individual. Testing allows the practitioner to identify those more likely to develop osteoporosis, to intervene before significant loss has occurred, and to monitor the efficacy of treatment regimens.

Food allergies and sensitivities are recognized to be correlated with many plaguing health conditions, but with proper identification and elimination of offending foods, many experience relief from their symptoms. US Biotek’s 144 Food Panel is a comprehensive food sensitivity testing option for patients who may have underlying sensitivities to less conspicuous antigens. Assess IgG, IgG4, or IgA antibody reactivity across a broad range of culturally diverse foods to help identify trigger foods in these individuals.

GI Map measures a substantial list of opportunistic pathogens that may be causing chronic gastrointestinal symptoms, intestinal permeability issues, hormonal imbalances, and food sensitivities. Research has shown that many of these health challenges can be traced to imbalances with gut microbes as a main cause. For instance, the GI Map can be instrumental in helping to identify gastrointestinal pathogens that cause infectious colitis or gastroenteritis. This technology has been used to identify and control pathogen outbreaks because of its rapid turnaround time.

NeuroAdvanced Profile in the neurological system, hormones are synergistic with neurotransmitters—modulating their production, signaling, and metabolism. Because of this complex interplay, testing hormones and neurotransmitters together is an ideal way to generate a more precise clinical assessment. Elements are also important for brain health—deficiencies in iodine or selenium compromise the neuroprotective functions of thyroid hormones and lithium is implicated in neuroprotection and regeneration. Heavy metals on the other hand disrupt neurotransmitter synthesis, metabolism, and signaling, contributing to the burden of neurological dysfunction. NeuroAdvanced Profile includes: GABA, Glu, Gly, DA, Epi, HIST, NE, 5-HT, PEA, DOPAC, HVA, 5-HIAA, NMN, VMA

A commonly used tool for assessing adrenal hormones is a diurnal cortisol curve. This curve is derived from taking four daily saliva collections—typically done upon waking, before lunch, before dinner, and before bed—and charting them on a 24-hour graph. The resulting curve—also called a four-point cortisol curve or circadian cortisol pattern—reveals cortisol levels throughout the day and allows health care providers to pinpoint issues with adrenal gland function.

The DUTCH test, which uses dried urine, is the simplest, most elegant, and informative test for anyone considering bioidentical hormone therapy, or suspects they might have a hormone problem. The test is done four times in a day, and the strips are then used to give you a complete hormone panel, including metabolites, effectively replacing multiple testing methods.

Mycotoxins are metabolites produced by fungi like mold, which can infest buildings, vehicles, and foodstuffs. A majority of mycotoxin exposures are through food ingestion or airborne exposure. This test MycoTOX screens for eleven different mycotoxins, from four species of mold, in one urine sample. It is the most comprehensive and competitively priced mycotoxin test available. Great Plains Lab uses the power of advanced mass spectrometry (MS/MS), which is necessary to detect lower levels of these fungal toxins.

Hair Elements analysis provides information regarding recent and ongoing exposure to potentially toxic metals, especially methylmercury and arsenic, and time-averaged status of specific nutrient elements. This noninvasive screening test requires only .25 grams of hair. Doctor's Data offers a Hair Elements profile containing essential and toxic elements and a Hair Toxic Element Exposure profile containing an expanded lineup of toxic metals.

Our at-home Lyme disease test kit tests for four different genes that are found in Borrelia burgdorferi, the most common cause of Lyme disease in the United States, and 8 common Lyme disease co-infectors including Babesia microti, Babesia divergens, Babesia duncani, Bartonella bacilliformis, Bartonella henselae, Bartonella quintana, Borrelia miyamotoi, Borrelia recurrentis, Ehrlichia chaffeensis and Anaplasma phagocytophilum. Home testing of Lyme co-infectors (other tick-transmitted organisms) indicates likely infection with the Lyme spirochete as well.

*Please note that due to the complexity of Lyme disease and MSIDS, this panel is only available to existing patients.*
